First recommendation I can give – if you want to experience playing with the people you’ve played, use Players list option. You will check out your rivals and friends and enjoy playing only with that guys whom you want to see at the table.
Try to play at the rooms, which have high speed and are frequently updating of the occupied tables.
Take notes when you play. It can be very useful in a long-term period –to monitor the opponents’ tactics and strategy. Also you will see how the player acts in either situations.
If you have possibility to use four-colored deck – use it immediately. That will help you monitor the suites, and you will never confuse clubs and spades.
Watch out hand history – it usually provides information about the strategy and players’ psychology. Turn on avatars of the players – two opened channels of perception are better than one or no channels, that’s for sure.
Last hint – watch your time at the table. And money too, of course. Unless you risk to find yourself without a penny and leave the computer late at night.
